Let the edges be wild.

Clean lines aren’t always the goal. In cyanotype, edges soften, shift, and occasionally break apart. Light leaks. Botanicals move. Paper absorbs unevenly. These moments aren’t mistakes. They’re evidence of the process at work.

Wild edges show where materials met resistance or changed their mind. They mark transitions rather than boundaries. What feels unfinished at first glance often holds the most character on closer inspection.

Not everything needs to resolve cleanly. Sometimes the edges tell the better story.
